Privacy Policy

Draft under review. This document is being finalized and may change before Peak One leaves early access. Questions? Email support@peakone.ai.
This policy explains what information Peak One collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We wrote it in plain language. If anything is unclear, email support@peakone.ai.
1. Who we are
Peak One ("Peak One", "we", "us") provides the Peak One workspace at peakone.ai. The legal entity that operates Peak One and its postal address will be listed here when this policy is finalized. Until then, you can reach us at support@peakone.ai.
2. Information we collect
Account information. Your name, email address and profile photo, and your password, which our authentication provider stores in hashed form. We never see your password in plain text.
Workspace content. Everything you and your teammates add to a workspace: missions, tasks, notes, messages, files, calendar events, templates, comments and settings.
Contacts you add. Names, email addresses, phone numbers, companies and notes about the people you work with. Please only add information you have the right to share.
Calls and text messages. When you place a call or send an SMS through Peak One, we store the phone numbers involved, the time, duration and status, and any notes or summaries you save. Call recording is off by default. If it is turned on, recordings are stored with our telephony provider and can be transcribed so you can review them.
Email you send. Messages you send from Peak One, with their delivery status.
Video meetings. Meeting rooms, participants and timing. We do not record video meetings at this time.
Technical data. IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and error reports, which we use to keep the service secure and working.
Cookies. We use only the cookies needed to run the service: your sign-in session and the workspace you last opened. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
3. How we use information
- To provide Peak One: storing your workspace, syncing it between teammates and delivering calls, texts, email and notifications you ask us to send.
- To run AI features when you use them. For example, when you ask Lisa a question or summarize a meeting, we send the content needed for that request to our AI provider and return the result to you.
- To keep Peak One secure, prevent abuse, and investigate and fix problems.
- To send you service messages such as invitations, password resets and important account notices.
- To meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your workspace content for advertising.
4. AI processing
Lisa and other AI features are powered by Google's Gemini API. Only the content needed for a request is sent, and only when you use an AI feature. AI output can be wrong, so please review it before relying on it. Google processes this data under its Gemini API terms.
6. Google account data
Peak One does not currently connect to your Google account. If we add Google Calendar sync, we will ask for your permission first, explain here exactly what data we access, and use it only to provide that feature, in line with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
7. How long we keep information
We keep your information while your account or workspace is active. When you delete content, or ask us to delete your account, we remove it from the live service. Copies may remain in backups for a limited time before they are overwritten.
8. Your choices and rights
- You can update your name and photo in Settings at any time.
- You can ask us for a copy of your personal information, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing support@peakone.ai.
- You can reply STOP to any text message from Peak One to stop receiving texts.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law. We will respond to requests as those laws require.
9. Security
Connections to Peak One are encrypted with HTTPS, access to each workspace is limited to its members, and roles control what each member can change. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and tell us right away at support@peakone.ai if you suspect a problem.
10. Children
Peak One is a tool for work and is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
11. Where information is processed
Peak One and its service providers process information in the United States and possibly other countries where they operate.
12. Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change and change the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will also tell you in the app or by email.
